Review: Summer reads #2: Shatter Me (Shatter Me #1) by Tahereh Mafi

Juliette hasn’t touched anyone in exactly 264 days.
The last time she did, it was an accident, but The Reestablishment locked her up for murder. No one knows why Juliette’s touch is fatal. As long as she doesn’t hurt anyone else, no one really cares. The world is too busy crumbling to pieces to pay attention to a 17-year-old girl. Diseases are destroying the population, food is hard to find, birds don’t fly anymore, and the clouds are the wrong color.
The Reestablishment said their way was the only way to fix things, so they threw Juliette in a cell. Now so many people are dead that the survivors are whispering war – and The Reestablishment has changed its mind. Maybe Juliette is more than a tortured soul stuffed into a poisonous body. Maybe she’s exactly what they need right now.
Juliette has to make a choice: Be a weapon. Or be a warrior

Review: 4/5 stars

I was not really sure about this book.
I was very confused in the beginning to be honest it was frustrating as heck
I'm still confused but I think its not confusion but suspense of what all this things means.
I liked the plot, loved it really.
the writing oh my oh my oh my oh my it was... so odd. It was different for sure. There was so much repetition going on I thought my kindle was broken and it was repeating itself.
and also the metaphors. If you dont like metaphors then dont read this book. It was half metaphors and sometimes they were really long. At first I took them literal but then I realized that there were no petals on her face...
As much as there were things that made me frustrated the book itself was so good I could ignore it all. I loved the characters and I cant wait to know the new characters in the next book.
Overall it was a good book couldn't put it down.
