Review: Summer reads #15: In Your Dreams (In Your Dreams #1) by Amy Martin

In Your Dreams (In Your Dreams, #1)Sixteen-year-old Zara "Zip" McKee lives for three things: basketball, books, and bailing out of tiny Titusville, Illinois, where the junior high and high school are in the same building and everyone's known everyone else since birth. But when Kieran Lanier moves to town and passes out on her desk on his first day at school, Zip's life gets complicated in a way she never dreamed.

Kieran has narcolepsy, and although he sometimes struggles to stay awake, he has no trouble capturing Zip's heart and trusting her with his most guarded secret--he sees bits and pieces of the future in his dreams.

But just when Zip thinks that maybe she can handle having a boyfriend who sees things before they happen, her budding relationship with Kieran gets a jolt when Kieran's parents reveal that his sleeping disorder is not what it seems and may be putting them in harm's way. And when Zip begins to have unsettling dreams, she must decide if she can live with knowing the future in advance when she's afraid of what might happen.
Review: 3/5 stars
I received a copy of this book to review. I liked the idea of the story and how it played out. The only thing I hoped it would have had was a paranormal part. It would have fit pretty well in it. But in the end I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

Oh Cam why haven't I plowed into someone like you yet???
This was such a sweet read. It was sad yes but it was also really sweet.
First off I have to say how much I appreciate the time Jennifer took to develop the relationship between Cam and Avery. I was getting really tired of this love at first sight stories.
I really enjoyed the plot and Jacob!
This books will keeping u turning the pages all night. And the ending. No. The last sentence. Can I get a Awwww.
I haven't read any J. Lynn but love Jennifer so I know to expect a good book. This wasn't a favorite but it was pretty close.

Wow this book was so intense.
If you cant stomach such situations I wouldn't recommend it.
However I really enjoyed it
I liked the characters well except for the bad ones of course. The book had its funny moments, its aww moment and its moments where you wanted to hit someone. I was kinda scared for the Brooke she had me screaming at my kindle. The ending was quite shocking made me mad and on the verge of tears. In the end the book was a fantastic read that really makes you think of what these people go through and the fact that they are scared to do anything about it.

Books I Never Read

True Story:
I've not been raised in america so things like this I never did as a kid I spent most of my time playing outside with the neighborhood kids instead. So this past weekend I decided to go to Barnes and Noble and make up for the little thinks I missed when I was a kid. To be honest this is a really weird book.

Review: Summer reads #10: Charade (Games #1)by Nyrae Dawn

Charade (Games, #1)Nineteen-year-old Cheyenne tries to portray the perfect life to mask the memories of her past. Walking in on her boyfriend with another woman her freshman year in college threatens that picture of perfection.

Twenty-one-year-old Colt never wanted college and never expected to amount to anything, but when his mom's dying wish is for him to get his degree, he has no choice but to pretend it's what he wants too.

Cheyenne needs a fake boyfriend to get back at her ex and Colt needs cash to take care of his mom, so they strike a deal that helps them both. But what if Cheyenne’s past isn’t what she thought? Soon they’re trading one charade for another—losing themselves in each other to forget about their pain. The more they play their game, the more it becomes the only thing they have that feels real.

Both Cheyenne and Colt know life is never easy, but neither of them expect the tragedy that threatens to end their charade and rip them apart forever.

And the award for the most deceiving cover goes to...
I love the cover this book was not all happy that cover makes it to be. It was actually pretty depressing.
There are were a lot of good reviews for this book so I decided to check it out but in the end the book itself was lacking. It had the potential but it didn't reach it. I found it feeling forced at times.
I don't like leaving book halfway but this book really pushed me I almost stopped but I was hoping for a twist or something big at the end. Sadly it was all expected.
The relationship didnt really make me go aww and sometimes Colt's moves were just not appealing at all.
I will recommend this if you are looking for a sad average book /:
