Mara Dyer Series by Michelle Hodkin

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer, #1)5/5 Stars
Review:
This book was AMAZING!!
I loved everything about it. Especially the fact that I didnt know the book was heading till 70% into it. At a point I was convinced Mara was crazy.
Noah... With the accent... and the beautiful face. Yep book boyfriend material right here.
I cant wait to read the next one that ending was a killer.
To be honest I'm still confused whats going on but I hope the next book will clean everything up for me.
Apologies to my friends who I will ignore in the next couple of weeks :)

Review:
November...really!
I'm mad that ending just added more questions.
Ok about the book... I think the first one was better but this was also really good.
A lot! of things happen and I was like whaaaa
a lot of things are not expected.
Anyways I still love the book I'm just mad that I have to wait so long when I have all these questions that need answers.

The Retribution of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer, #3) COMING SOON!!

Hunting Lila (Lila #1) by Sarah Alderson

Hunting Lila (Lila, #1)
17-year-old Lila has two secrets she’s prepared to take to the grave. The first is that she can move things just by looking at them. The second is that she’s been in love with her brother’s best friend, Alex, since forever.

After a mugging exposes her unique ability, Lila decides to run to the only people she can trust—her brother and Alex. They live in Southern California where they work for a secret organization called The Unit, and Lila discovers that the two of them are hunting down the men who murdered her mother five years before. And that they’ve found them.

In a world where nothing and no one is quite as they seem, Lila quickly realizes that she is not alone—there are others out there just like her—people with special powers—and her mother’s killer is one of them…

Review:
I have been so busy I didnt have time to sit down and just rid the book. Therefore
I didnt enjoy it as much I thought I would.
I think it was because of Lila's character. The love story wasn't the best.
The ending was good, however I dont think I'm going to continue the books.

I am a Book Hoarder

One of my favorite things to do is to go to a thrift store and buy books. Most of the time I don't buy  planning to read them. I buy them because they are attractive to the eye. I love fancy covers like leather, fabric, or even wood. Yes I judge books by cover. Sometimes I think the saying is more used for people than books. Some books I buy because I have to. Like for in class reading assignments and such. I always think about giving them away, or selling them, or donating them to library. But in the end of the day I refuse. Those are my books and they stay with me!  I am a total book hoarder.
And proud. Are You?

Fall is Here!

I love fall! Nature is even more beautiful. Hot chocolate taste better. Sleeping feels like the thing to do all the time. Its a peace full time. Fall leads all the good, sweet things. Halloween, thanksgiving, then Christmas. But nothing beats cuddling with a good book and a cup of coffee. I am planning on getting a more pillows for my bed so that I can have a more comfortable place to read in my dorm.
What are you excited about this fall?

Bully (Fall Away #1) by Penelope Douglas

18090508My name is Tate. He doesn't call me that, though. He would never refer to me so informally, if he referred to me at all.

We're neighbors, and once, we were best friends. But then, one summer, he turned on me and has made it his mission to screw up my life at every opportunity. I've been humiliated, shut out, and gossiped about all through high school. His pranks and rumors got more sadistic as time wore on, and I made myself sick trying to hide from him. I worried about what was around every corner and behind every door.

So I left.

I spent a year studying abroad and bathed in the freedom of life without Jared. Now I'm back to finish up high school and get the hell out of here forever. I'm hoping that after a year of breathing room, he's moved on and forgotten all about me.

But even if he hasn't changed, I have. I'm not interested in avoiding him or turning the other cheek anymore. We're going to go head to                                                                          head, because neither of us wants to back down.

Review: 1/5 stars
I read this book all the way through just to see how it would turn out because from the beginning I really doubted a relationship could come out of their disagreements.
I still dont understand the feelings the had to me Tate seemed like she enjoyed most of the attention she got from Jared.
It was an interesting book but it just didnt work for me.
I wish the stuck to the racing part of the story instead.

I'm Broke but I Think I Can Buy a Book... or Two

Hey guys!

I just wanted to let you in on my latest purchase. The other day I went to books a million with a friend of mine. We enjoy going there and just sitting for hours looking at books, reading books, goofing around. It's almost like a way to relax for me. I usually try not to by anything. That is unless it is on the sale section and I just happen to want to read it. So this time I got two books...

I've been wanting to read Cinder for a while. The cover is beautiful and the story line is eye catching. I was so lucky to get this as a hard cover for less than $5. I practically jumped from joy when I saw it. I'm really excited to start it soon.

My next book was Easy by Tammara Webber (soft cover) This has actually been out for a while. I have already read it on the kindle...I really try not to buy books that I've already read because I'm a broke college student. BUT! It was $3 and I now get to have it with me and read it over and over again. I remember really enjoying it the first time I read it so hopefully it will still feel the same.

What book would you buy even after you have read it on an electrical device?

Reason for this post is because I am working on building a small library in my dorm. I love love books! Hard covers, paperbacks, I just want to feel them. So expect to see more like this. Also If you want to send me more to add to I wouldn't oppose. ;)

From What I Remember... by Stacy Kramer, Valerie Thomas

11263180KYLIE: Mexico? What a nightmare! I should be putting the finishing touches on my valedictorian speech. Graduation is TODAY! Wait! Is this a wedding band on my finger??

MAX: It started with Kylie's laptop and a truck full of stolen electronics and it ended in Ensenada. It was hot, the way she broke us out like some chick in an action movie. But now we're stranded here, with less than twenty-four hours before graduation.

WILL: Saving Kylie Flores from herself is kind of a full-time occupation. Luckily, I, Will Bixby, was born for the job. And when I found out she was stuck in Mexico with dreamy Max Langston, sure, I agreed to bring their passports across the border but there's no reason to rush back home right away. This party is just getting started.

LILY: This cannot be happening. It's like some cruel joke. Or a bad dream. I close my eyes and when I reopen them, they're still there. Max and Kylie Flores, freak of the century. In bed together. If Kylie thinks I'm giving him up without a fight, she's dead wrong.

Review: 5 stars
This is one of those books that escalated quickly.
I love books that start with the middle then go back to the beginning.
The plot was so out there and the chances of it happening and turning out positive is zero to nothing but! I loved every second. It was funny and really entertaining.
Kylie is now one of my faves heroine.
She was so relate-able. Not the story. Just her personality.
Max sometimes got on my nerves but in the end I liked him.
Will!! I loved him! He was hilarious and spoke his mind too much but I wouldn't ask for any less.
I couldn't stop reading. Really I spent a whole day in bed reading this. Loved it!!!
Definitely recommend this if you want a funny, crazy read.
