Spring Break Reads

Goodreads

Ten Tiny Breaths (Ten Tiny Breaths #1) by

"How are we going to survive though?" "With ten hours of prostitution for eac of us. Maximum." "Kacey!"

This was a fantastic read.

It must be hard to live with a wall around your heart.
But she had gone though so much in her life I don't see how see functions.
Kacey doesn't love anyone but her little sister. She cant even stomach the thought of touching anyone but here comes Trent with those blue eyes.
Dreamy next door neighbor who seems to be the only one who she would love to touch.

Such a sweet, sad and... kinda freaky? story.

Shocking once you find out everything. All he wanted to do was help but I don't know if I would be freaked out or just plain scared.

I sorta saw it coming but when it did come I was still shocked.
It was like those commercials... But wait there's more!
I would totally recomend this.
4.5/5 stars

At the moment I'm reading Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire and I cant wait review with you guys. This is quite hard to review because judging from others it seems as if people either loved it or just completely hated it.

Beautiful Disaster (Beautiful #1) by

INTENSE. DANGEROUS. ADDICTIVE.

Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn’t drink or swear, and she has the appropriate number of cardigans in her wardrobe. Abby believes she has enough distance from the darkness of her past, but when she arrives at college with her best friend, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University’s Walking One-Night Stand.

Travis Maddox, lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby wants—and needs—to avoid. He spends his nights winning money in a floating fight ring, and his days as the ultimate college campus charmer. Intrigued by Abby’s resistance to his appeal, Travis tricks her into his daily life with a simple bet. If he loses, he must remain abstinent for a month. If Abby loses, she must live in Travis’s apartment for the same amount of time. Either way, Travis has no idea that he has met his match.

Dare You To (Pushing the Limits #2) by Katie McGarry

Review:
5/5 stars
Where to start?!?
It was definitely better than Pushing the Limits.
This book was the definition of amazing!
An emotional roller costa and I loved every second of it!
An absolute page turner. The writing was fantastic. This is one of those books that after you finish it's so good you don't know what to so with yourself.
Awesome characters. I felt sad for Beth but all the bad things that happen were canceled out by better things.
I can't wait for the next book Crash Into You.
I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did.

Book With a Message

Goodreads

Review:
3.5/5 rating
"Happiness is not limited. There is enough for everyone."

This was different from what I normally read.
It was depressing for sure. It's so sad what was happening to Noelle and I can't believe that people actually go through that. It gives you a view to the things that you don't really understand. The message that the book send is so precise and just wonderful. I can't think of the word for it at the moment but I love what Colasanti is doing with her writing. I hope many people read this and get the message.
The book itself is good, the idea of the story that is.
The writing... I didn't really enjoy, felt quite choppy. I've read Colasanti's books before and haven't seen this sort of writing. Or maybe I just don't pay attention. Considering how good the story is I can ignore it but I just wish I didnt have to. If you are looking for a book to touch your heart and give you a view of other people's life that you never think about, here you go. Enjoy :)

Crash - Nicole Williams

Goodreads Book Description

Book Review:

3.9/5 rating.
"Don't let the fear of losing them keep you from loving them."

"Dont let the past make you fear the future."

I really liked this book
I have to say the thing that attracted me to the book was the cover and and this awesome cover has an awesome book.
So here is Lucy, with a tough home life, looking for love and finding the worst one of them all.
I mean Jude Hotdayumm Ryder had a sign on his forehead that said beware (not really but he might as well have had one). But that didn't stop Lucy in anyway and I was there screaming "you go girl!" until it all came crashing down.  Lucy is an awesome character. She is just wants to save everyone  even those who don't want to be saved. She doesn't let much get to her and stand up for herself.
There was so much love, so much pain, so much confusion.
Sometimes people just need to shut up and listen. Lucy is one of those people. But then sometimes you don't what to hear anything because you are afraid of what the outcome will be.
Can't wait to read the next book.

Everyone needs to check this one out because it is totally worth it.

Rule by Jay Crownover

Book Review.
Rating: 2.8/5 chocolate pieces
OK where to start ehem eehm...
RULE! never loved by anyone and now that someone finally does he pays back by pushing them away sad. He wasn't really the type of guy I like to read about. I like tattoos but not full body kind and Mohawks are just not my thing. But I liked him except for how he shut down all the time. But if he didnt what kind of story will this be.
Shaw- I really liked her but she had some flaws. She said that she didn't have to be different to be with Rule but I felt like at the end of the story she ended up being kind of different. Not drastic just not what she was in the beginning. *Rule's influence of course*
Ayden, Cora, Nash and Rome were just awesome characters.
I really loved how Remy was put in the story. The secret in the end about him did not surprise me at all kinda saw it coming half way.
Overall it couldnt have been better it kind of dragged after a while.

I cant wait to read about Ayden and Jet

" True enough and opposited dont just attract they freaking catch fire and burn the entire city down."

Hilarious Book

Book Description:
Seventeen year old Violet Mercer returns home from her summer vacation in Hawaii to discover her boyfriend's cheating on her with a friend. As if that wasn't bad enough, her mother's marrying a man she just met.

Things take an awkward turn when Violet meets her rich new stepfather, and his gorgeous son--the hot guy whom she made a fool of herself in front of earlier that day! Zane O' Connor is sexy and charming, and way out of her league. He makes her forget her ex-boyfriend even existed. But there's no way she'd ever have a chance with him...right?

Through a strange turn of events, Violet finds herself living with Zane for a month. Somewhere between the fighting and flirting, they become friends. And it isn't long before that friendship blooms into something else...something more powerful than Violet anticipated.

But Zane is hiding something from her--something big enough to tear them apart if Violet ever discovered the truth about him. Her suspicions keep her from trusting him completely. She's been burned before--is she willing to take that risk again?

As she and Zane spend more time together, Violet realizes it's too late: she's fallen for the beautiful boy with the big secret. Will she get her heart broken twice in one year--or will her love survive the truth?

5/5 rating
This was a pretty good quick read.
I loved it! Hilarious!
Loved the awkwardness.
The sexual tension in the room was intense.
Didn't expect that to be the big secret at all.

And Lauren... Girl wow that was just... No
I liked Zane soft spoken, sweet, and said whatever was on his mind- sometimes. I see why he would do what he did. It's like a step back to reality.
Violet was one awkward jealous girl that I completely loved. It's funny how her and her mother shared that awkwardness trait.
I would totally recommend this.
Thank you so much Sara I really enjoyed it!

Do people change or grow up?

Today I was going through my old Google email and I noticed I was part of a journalism blog that we had in my old school. I went through it to find the posts that I wrote and this one caught my attention. I'm 18 now so 5 years ago this is was my thought process.  First thing I noticed here is that I forgot my birthday... its the 24th bu then that could be a mistype. I also noticed how much I've changed. I don't do so much graffiti these days, I actually draw (people). America is the second country I've been to. I still like hanging out with my friends. The family part... I like it but we dont do it often anymore. Movies I love watching them but I don't have time anymore. I'm busy READING. The final thing I remember when I used to hate reading cant believe I have written proof. "Big books" to be exact, I have a lot of big books that I've read today. Gossiping... no one likes that. This is what brings up the question do people change of just grow up?
