Do people change or grow up?

Today I was going through my old Google email and I noticed I was part of a journalism blog that we had in my old school. I went through it to find the posts that I wrote and this one caught my attention. I'm 18 now so 5 years ago this is was my thought process.  First thing I noticed here is that I forgot my birthday... its the 24th bu then that could be a mistype. I also noticed how much I've changed. I don't do so much graffiti these days, I actually draw (people). America is the second country I've been to. I still like hanging out with my friends. The family part... I like it but we dont do it often anymore. Movies I love watching them but I don't have time anymore. I'm busy READING. The final thing I remember when I used to hate reading cant believe I have written proof. "Big books" to be exact, I have a lot of big books that I've read today. Gossiping... no one likes that. This is what brings up the question do people change of just grow up?

  1. I think people change and grow up:) Hopefully. Everyone changes as they learn more and experience life, and hopefully the change is for the better, right? I hardly watch tv and movies anymore either, and I used to do quite a lot of it. You have some great posts!

  2. I think as you grow up you change because you find out more about yourself. Does that make sense? As you get older you realize, hey, this doesn't really make me happy like I thought it did. Or the other way around, hey I really like books because I can connect with them. So I think as long as you grow as a person, the things you love will change and grow as well. (I hope that doesn't sound completely romantic or sappy, lol.)
